Jassuben and family celebrate Raksha Bandhan...

It’s now time for brother-sister union with Raksha Bandhan fast approaching!! As television serials plan to celebrate the day in a festive way, NDTV Imagine’s Jassuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family has a Rakhi track penned in the story track!!

It is a special day indeed for the Bahus of the biggest family on television, as their brothers have come all the way to shower love on them.

But the twist in the tale is that Purushottam, Nandini’s father who had faked a heart attack just to stop themarriage of Nandini and Pinakin gets caught, and it is now the turn of Pinakin’s dad, Chandu to deny consent to the marriage. In the midst of all chaos, Sudha, Nandini’s mother comes up with a plan that she will go to Pinakin’s place and silently tie a Rakhi on Chandu’s hand and then request him to accept her daughter in marriage to his son Pinakin…

This plan works for the whole family and there is a happy union. A very joyous Nandini (played by Ketki ) says, “My mom always gives dumb ideas, but this time she comes up with a master plan and things get resolved. Every time it is Jassuben who solves problems, but this time it is my mom who does the honors”.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Ketki remembers her younger brother and says, “I have a younger brother and every year Raksha Bandhan is memorable to me”.
