Actor Shivam Khajuria, currently seen in Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi's show Anupamaa, believes that celebrity podcasts are gaining immense popularity. He feels that audiences love getting direct insights from their favorite stars, making this medium a refreshing way to connect.
"I think podcasts are a fantastic way to speak openly and express yourself without filters. In traditional media, statements can often be misinterpreted or taken out of context, but podcasts allow people to hear exactly what you say. I also believe in keeping my personal life private. I chose a profession where I'm constantly judged, but that doesn't mean my loved ones should have to deal with the same scrutiny. I prefer my characters to be admired more than me, but of course, every person has their own approach to this," he shares.
With social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as interviews and podcasts, there is very little privacy left for public figures. Addressing this, Shivam says, "Nowadays, everything sells—whether it's positive or negative. Different kinds of content attract different audiences. But at the end of the day, it all depends on how an individual chooses to handle their public image."

Shivam believes that each celebrity has their own way of managing their public persona. "It really comes down to personal preference. Some like to share everything, while others, like me, prefer a bit of mystery. I have also noticed that sometimes, publicity stunts are used to grab attention, and many people create fake relationships for the sake of social media buzz. For me, relationships are sacred, and I prefer to keep them private. The more opinions and outside perceptions get involved, the harder it becomes to maintain authenticity," he adds.
With podcasts becoming an unfiltered way for celebrities to express themselves, Shivam appreciates the freedom they provide, allowing stars to connect with their audience on their own terms.
