Janhvi opposite Rajkummar in Dinesh Vijan's Rooh-Afza? Details inside

Producer Dinesh Vijan, who was on cloud nine post the success of Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree, is currently basking in the glory of Luka Chuppi starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, which is faring well at the box-office. Apart from that, speculations were rife that he is all set to collaborate with his Stree actor Rajkummar Rao for another horror comedy, titled Rooh-Afza.

Now as per a report in Filmfare, it seems Dinesh is keen to cash Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead opposite Rajkummar. A source close to the project told the magazine, "Janhvi's performance in Dhadak was quite impressive which is why makers are considering her to play the lead role in the film. Janhvi and Rajkummar's pairing will be something fresh which audience will look out for."

While there has been no official confirmation yet from either of the two, it would certainly be a delight to watch this fresh pairing on the silver screen. Interestingly, Dinesh is is expected to unite with Imtiaz Ali for Love Aaj Kal 2, which will reportedly see Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. It seems Dinesh is leaving no stone unturned to tap into the talent of these young starlets.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is busy shooting for Kargil Girl, a biopic on Gunjan Saxena who was India's first woman combat pilot. Rajkummar, on the other hand, has Mental Hai Kya. Turram Khan and Made in China in the pipeline.
