A tragic car crash in Vadodara has shaken the nation. The horrifying incident, which was caught on camera, has sparked outrage, with many demanding strict action. Actress Janhvi Kapoor has now reacted strongly to the incident, calling it "appalling and enraging."
Taking to social media on Saturday, Janhvi expressed her frustration over the incident. She wrote, "This is appalling and enraging. Her reaction has resonated with many who are equally angered by the reckless driving incident. Social media is flooded with comments demanding justice for the victims.

Accused Claims Car Lost Control Due to Potholes
After his arrest, Rakshit Chaurasia claimed that his car lost control because of potholes on the road. He told reporters, "The car was running at around 50 kmph. There was a scooty and another car. I was not drunk. I want to meet the family of the deceased because it was my fault. Whatever they wish should happen."
He expressed deep regret, calling his apology an understatement in light of the loss. He further added, "I wasn’t at a party. I went for Holika Dahan and was not drunk."
In a shocking video filmed by an eyewitness, Chaurasia is seen stepping out of his heavily damaged car. He appears disoriented and repeatedly shouts, "Another round? Another round?" before being confronted by bystanders. The furious crowd is seen beating him before handing him over to the police. CCTV footage shows the speeding car hitting two scooters, throwing the riders off and dragging them along before halting. The incident occurred around 12:30 am near Muktanand Cross Roads in Karelibaug. Deputy Commissioner of Police Panna Momaya confirmed Chaurasia’s arrest.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many demanding stricter road safety measures and harsh punishment for reckless drivers.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is currently filming Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Varun Dhawan. She will also be seen in Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra.
