Janhvi Kapoor on facing box office clash with Ishaan Khatter: A part of us will always root for each other

This week is going to be a treat for the movie buffs. The box office will see a clash between three films, 'Double XL' starring Sonakshi Sinha an Huma Qureshi, 'Phone Bhoot' featuring Katrina Kiaf, Siddhant Chaturvedi and 'Mili', having Janhvi Kapoor as the lead.

Well, this will be the first time when, rumoured exes Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter will face a clash at the box office.

Taking about the same in a recent interview, Janhvi Kapoor shared how she wished luck to Ishaan.

Quoting News 18 she said, 

"He messaged me recently wishing me luck for Mili and I wished him back saying, ‘Right back at you!’ I think there was an undercurrent of competitiveness. I’m just kidding! We really wish the best for each other dil se (from the heart). We started out together. A part of us will always root for each other."

With Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter made their Bollywood debuts in 2018. While they were collaborating on their debut, there were rumours that Janhvi and Ishaan were dating. Later, they were frequently seen travelling together.

Talking about their films, 'Phone Bhoot' is a horror comedy, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Ridhwani's Excel Entertainments.

Mili is a Hindi remake of the The 2019 Malayalam film Helen  which is helmed by the original's director Mathukutty Xavier. This is their first time working together, and Janhvi's father Boney Kapoor produced the movie. The survival thriller also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in lead roles.
