It was earlier reported in this space that the Sagar Arts' mytho show on Sahara One, Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali, will take a leap soon. We had also written about Shobhit Attray, last seen in Imagine's Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo, will play the Ram after the leap.

The latest we hear is that the casts for Laxman and Sita are also finalized.

A source reveals, "Sumit Malhan (last seen in Balika Vadhu as Phooli's husband) has been roped in to play Laxman and Sonali Gupta who is a new face will be essaying Sita in the show."

The cast have already shot for a few sequences and will resume shoot within a few days.

We contacted Sumit Malhan and he confirmed, "Yes, I will be essaying Laxman in the show post leap."

All our efforts to reach Sonali Gupta were in vain.
