Jacqueline Fernandez's bail conditions modified: Court allows unrestricted overseas journeys

In a recent development, Jacqueline Fernandez, who was granted bail last year, is now witnessing a shift in the conditions that govern her bail arrangement. A Delhi court has decided to change the restrictions imposed on her, primarily concerning her ability to travel overseas.

According to a report from the Times of India, Jacqueline's legal battle has taken a favourable turn, as her bail limitations have undergone revision. The revised terms allow her to leave the country without prior authorization, as long as she duly informs both the court and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at least three days before her intended departure.

The decision to amend Jacqueline's bail conditions comes in recognition of the actress's professional commitments that oblige her to travel overseas frequently. 

The Special Judge Shailendra Malik, presiding over the matter, acknowledged the importance of Jacqueline's global work engagements. Notably, the judge underscored that Jacqueline Fernandez has impeccably adhered to all the conditions of her bail and has never breached any of the stipulated terms. The previous onus of seeking advance approval for foreign travel was deemed by the court as potentially restrictive to her career opportunities.

Jacqueline, in her pursuit of justice, had previously submitted an appeal to the court. She said that the intricate procedures entailed in securing court sanction for her frequent travel were inflicting financial losses and tarnishing her reputation.
