It's not Amitabh, but something else that's keeping Aishwarya AWAY

The Bachchan family had issues with their daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's intimate scenes in her upcoming film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is known to all.

But recently a new story was making rounds in the town! It stated that the head of the family, Amitabh Bachchan had issues with his Bahu promoting the film. Apparently he had called up Karan and asked him to keep Ash away from the limelight because of the intimate scenes.

Also, Aishwarya's absence from the promotions fueled the speculations. While Anushka is out of the country shooting with Shah Rukh Khan, her absence is justified. But, even after being in town Ash wasn't taking part in any of the activities related to the film.

A close source has been quoted by the daily, "The strategy is that both heroines will promote the film together. Because while Ash has a small role, Anushka is the leading lady and Ash promoting the film without her will send out the wrong message." (sic)
