It's not ACP, but Daya to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa!

However, there was a buzz that Navjot Singh Sidhu backed out of the show, and the celebrity replacing him is the mighty ACP Pradhyuman, Shivaji Satam from CID.

However, we hear that it is not the ACP who was approached for the show, but it is one of his senior most men, Daya Shetty aka Daya of CID who has given his nod for this season's Jhalak.

To get a confirmation we contacted Shivaji Satam who refused being part of Jhalak… and said, "I have not even been approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, so being a part of that show is far fetched".

An insider from the industry says, "Daya Shetty aka Inspector Daya of CID has been finalized to be a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He has already started rehearsing for the same. Vrushali will be his partner on the show".

When contacted, Daya confirmed the buzz saying "Yes, I have already started my dance rehearsals for Jhalak. Since I am not a dancer, I am taking lot of time at the rehearsal hall, and all is getting tedious as I have some personal tracks coming in CID too. Above all, CID is very important for me. So I hope I am able to manage my dates and do my best; I do not want to look a fool on the dance floor".

While the mighty Daya gets ready to sizzle, Inspector Daya seems to be getting ready for his marriage.

Our source tells us, "In CID, we saw the entry of Melanie Pais last week, and Daya has already fallen for her. Even though there is something fishy about the whole scenario, the coming episodes will see a love track between the two. There is a possibility of marriage being on cards for Inspector Daya".

Guess it's going to be a double dose of Daya on Sony TV for a while!!
