Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum, produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd. is in a mood for celebrations. Reason? The show has completed a successful journey of 1 year, maintaining the top position in the TRP rankings. On the occasion of its first grand anniversary, the team got a chance for a double celebration, as they have achieved a TRP of 6.7 this week taking Star Plus back to the No. 1 position, which was their target for so long. Anas Rashid: We have no idea about how we have completed our one year journey so soon! It seems like it all happened yesterday when we were shooting in Pushkar and its already been a year now. The kind of connectivity we have with our viewers seems like we have a relation since childhood. Viewers have showered a lot of love on us and we are thankful to them for that. They have shown a strong sense of involvement to all us which is very much appreciated. It because of their love that we have successfully completed this journey. I would like to tell my viewers that always be happy and may our love continue to be this way. Deepika Singh: Diya Aur Baati Hum has completed its first anniversary today and we have got 6.7 TRP as well which we didn't get for the entire year. I would like to thank our viewers, my friends and family for their love and support. It's because of the love and support showered by them that we have completed our 1 year journey successfully. The support of our fans and the grace of God that we have reached this level.Gautam Gulati: It is a very good experience. It feels great to be a part of the show which is No. 1. Recently we were shooting for the scene when our Sooraj bhaiya came back home from Singapore after winning the trophy and we all were felt as if he had won the title in reality. I treat him like my elder brother and we all treat bhabho as our mother, off-screen as well. We have an awesome off-screen chemistry.
