Along with the launch of the new channel 9X, a new actress also gets herself launched under one of the biggest production house “Balaji Telefilms”. The production house has always come up with introducing new faces to Indian Television and everyone has been very successful. And to add to the list, is the new face “Krystle D'Souza” who plays the lead role of Kinjal in their new series “Kahe Naa Kahe”. This series is a refreshing story of a small-town, ordinary girl, Kinjal with extraordinary dreams. Like all the girls of her age, she too dreams of love and marriage, but with a difference. She gets unending support from her mother and father who believe her blindfolded, and think that she can never be wrong, even though she is on the verge of preparing for her 50th wedding.

Krystle always had it in the back of her mind that she wanted to be an actress. “Yes, it is true that I wanted myself to be in the glamour world and be a popular figure known to all”. She is a student of arts at St.Xaviers College and if not for this role, she would have done hospitality course and been an airhostess. Regarding the first day first shoot, she says, “It was a very short day where I could meet all my co-actors. I was never nervous and very confidently, I faced the camera”. What about your colleagues? “They are very kind to me and help me learn how to face the camera and give me tips. It is just like another family. My Co-actors are very experienced and whatever I learn is only from them. They are very supportive and encouraging”.
Life has totally changed for Krystle after getting this role. “I have now got more responsibility. Before, I just had to go to college and move around with friends. But now things have changed. I go very early for shooting and return back late at night. It’s a very busy schedule that I don’t get time to spend with my parents though I hail from Mumbai”. What about your future plans? “Right now I am concentrating on this series. I am happy with what I have got right now. Will see what is there in the future.”
This happy go lucky girl is the new star in the making. We wish her all the best for her new en devour!
