It's a Wrap! Manoj Bajpayee completes the shoot of The Family Man Season 3

On Saturday, actor Manoj Bajpayee took to Instagram Stories to share a behind-the-scenes (BTS) picture from the shoot of The Family Man, sparking excitement among fans.

The Family Man chronicles the life of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man balancing family responsibilities with his secretive role as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional branch of the National Investigation Agency.

The series, produced and directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & D.K., was first announced in June 2018. Filming for the debut season spanned locations such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh, wrapping up by May 2019. The second season, featuring actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the main antagonist in her digital debut, commenced in November 2019 and concluded in September 2020. The writing team included Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora and Kumar, while Suparn S. Verma helmed parts of the second season.

The conclusion of Season 2 offered a gripping preview of the third season, hinting at a storyline intertwining the Covid-19 pandemic with geopolitical tensions, including a purported China-backed attack on India’s northeastern states.

The show features a stellar cast alongside Bajpayee, including Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary.

Known for his versatility, Bajpayee has earned four National Film Awards and two Asia Pacific Screen Awards. With a career spanning iconic performances in films like Satya, Kaun, Gangs of Wasseypur, Aligarh, and Gulmohar—where he shared the screen with Sharmila Tagore—Bajpayee continues to reign as one of India’s most celebrated actors. His role in Gulmohar earned him his fourth National Award.
