Beautiful actress Preeti Chaudhary currently seen in Sony Pal's Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi (Shashi Sumeet Mittal) is all set to bid adieu. The story line of the show has always been about female protagonist (Preeti Chaudhary) to die in the show and the male protagonist (Rahul Sharma) re-marry one of her sister.

Seldom characters of the show have a happy ending. Similar is the case with Sonia Roy in the show.

Our source informs us, "So far, viewers have seen Abhiman (Anshul Trivedi) giving a notice of three days to the Roy family to name their entire property on his name and leave their house within the given notice period. What happens next is, Abhiman seeing all the concern towards him feels as though why should the other members of the family suffer when he has a problem only with Ratna Roy (Anjali Mukhi). Seeing all of this, he gets into a dilemma whether he should throw them out of the house or not. In this confusion he decides to leave the home. Learning about the same, Sonia runs behind his car to stop him and just then a car hits her leading to her death."

When contacted Preeti and asked her about the transition from a negative character (Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus) and back to a positive one, she answers saying, "I have always done positive characters. Before taking up Diya Aur Baati Hum, I was very skeptical about taking up such a role. The show was already established and doing extremely well on the TRP charts. Considering that show, I would say it was a grey shade more than a negative one."

Preeti's exit from the show was planned a couple of months ago; when asked, "After Diya Aur Baati Hum, I wanted to change my image all over again and do a positive role. My character was supposed to end two-three months ago but since the viewers appreciated our chemistry, it got extended."

"My journey in the show was quite interesting. Since yesterday, all of us have been so emotional. All of us bonded really well just like real sisters. I shot my last scene yesterday and since then we are crying only. I am hoping that the show goes on and achieve great heights. I want to watch the show on my television screen forever (chuckles)," answered when asked about her journey so far in the show.
