It's a beautiful experience to paint Diyas for home: Ankita Bhargava

Beautiful Ankita Bhargava shares her Diwali plans and talks about her thoughts on bursting crackers during Diwali in this conversation with TellyBuzz…

The festival of lights Diwali is round the corner and while we all are busy preparing for the festival by doing lots of shopping and decorating our home, our television actors are not lagging behind in doing preparations for Diwali.

Pretty actress Ankita Bhargava, who was last seen in Sony TV's Ek Nayi Pehchaan doesn't believe in bursting crackers as she thinks that it not only creates the air pollution but also disturbs the habitat of birds. So Ankita love being creative and loves to paint Diyas for her home.

We spoke to Ankita, who said, "I was never fond of crackers as they are too disturbing for the animals and birds at home or living on the streets. So I don't believe in bursting crackers. For me, Diwali is all about lots of food, flowers, lights and togetherness. Since my pet dog Kaju is extremely nervous during Diwali because of the fireworks, my parents and I don't leave her alone for a moment. Kaju is pampered even more during this time."

We also quizzed Ankita about her childhood memory to which she replied, "When we were kids, all my cousins back in Delhi and I used to sit together and paint Diyas with beautiful colors and glitter and I still do the same here in Mumbai. It is a very beautiful experience to paint diyas for your home. It connects you to your house on a different level."
