It was a distant dream when we started off with ‘Udaariyaan’: Ankit Gupta on 3.1 TRP rating

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ has seen a remarkable journey. The show entered into the TOP 5 list a while ago and now, the show ranks number 2 across various channels. The ardent fans as well as the cast of the show are elated with the progress.

The show has been currently going through quite a high voltage drama phase and the viewers are hooked onto it. Fateh trapped Jasmine and dumped her. He has left Moga and is staying in Gurudaspur doing odd jobs for a living. Jasmine is staying in a hotel and is keen on finding out about Fateh, Jasmine and Tejo’s whereabouts so that she can take revenge from them. Tejo and Angad are staying in Shimla.

Looks like Fateh giving Jasmine the taste of her own medicine by trapping her in a conspiracy that she couldn’t think in her wildest dream worked wonders for the show resulting in better ratings. India Forums got in touch with Ankit Gupta and asked him about his thoughts on the same.

 Ankit quipped, “Ironically, in the show, Fateh, Jasmine and Tejo’s basic dreams have been broken. Fateh wanted to get married to Jassu, Jasmine wanted to stay in Canada while Tejo wanted to continue staying in Punjab; all these dreams have come to a standstill, but off-screen, our dreams have taken the much-awaited udaariyaan (smiles). When, we started off with the show, we were striving hard to click with the audience and TRPs weren’t that great. It was a distant dream to touch a 3.1 rating. The journey has been phenomenal and I hope and pray that we sustain with decent ratings”.

He added, “I would like to thank our fans for their continuous and unconditional love and I request them to keep showering the love and support”.
