It is unbearably hot; locations are beautiful: Pranali & Harshad on shooting in scorching heat for YRKKH

From the smallest to the biggest of occasions, we all have seen the extravagant affairs in Rajan Shahi's shows. Wedding sequences in Rajan Shahi’s shows are known for its grandeur. Marriages are celebrated with sheer joy, enthusiasm and out of the box sequences in the producers’ shows. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain’ has witnessed around 18 grand weddings in the span of their run on TV and now the show is gearing up for yet another mega wedding that of Akshara and Abhimanyu.

This time around, the producers have zeroed upon Jaipur for the shoot of the wedding sequence. The team has been shooting at different locations of Jaipur for the show. While outdoors is fun, there’s a disadvantage for the team as the temperatures are soaring in Jaipur and it’s extremely hot there.

Talking to ETimes about shooting elaborated sequences and dance performances in such whether conditions, actor Harshad Chopra said, “Yes, it's unbearably hot here -but we are here for a special sequence and since our audience is looking forward to this track, it's worth it. The fact that we are shooting outdoor doesn't matter, we are taking ample protection, staying hydrated. As actors we have to sometimes physically push ourselves to do more than - I love my craft and enjoy what I do. For me what's important is being appreciated by my audience, and the hardship that I have faced while doing a particular sequence doesn't matter/ The locations are gorgeous.”

Pranali aka Akshara said, “The heat is unbearable. I am not used to working outdoors in this kind of extreme temperature. Thankfully, we are staying in a beautiful palace surrounded by lush greenery, so coming back to my room after a day's shoot is something I really look forward to. Having said that, this is a beautiful place to be in and it's been a fascinating experience so far."
