Anita Hasnandani, who is presently seen hosting Comedy Circus and has made her present felt on television at the early phase of her acting career shares her upcoming movie experience and her character of a bar dancer and much more…
Firstly tell us something about the movie Benny And Babloo?

What is your role in the movie?
The name of my character in the movie is Isha, who is a bar dancer. Since, the film is character driven, I am not the lead actor, as there are many other actors who play different characters in Benny And Babloo. This film is very realistic and that is the reason why i chose to work in it.
How difficult was it for you to play a role like that, since you have never done anything like this before?
It was a very different role, which initially I wasn't sure if I could play. However, after going to different dance bars, I learnt the various mannerisms and styles of the bar dancers, studied their lifestyle and worked quite hard on the accent, as I have to speak poor English in the movie. So a lot of efforts were put in while dubbing as well.
How was your experience working on this film?
I had a wonderful experience working in this film. Especially when good actors like Kay Kay Menon and Rajpal Yadav are in the film along with the other actors like Richa and Rukhsar Khan, who also play the role of bar dancers.
What do you usually learn from the films that you do or the work that you take up?
I have learnt alot from my career uptill now. Even in Khatron Ke Khiladi, I learnt quite a lot of things. I realized my Strengths and Weaknesses and learnt ways to overcome my fears. I was scared of water, but in Fear Factor, I learnt to swim. I have learnt that it is good to take challenges and you always come out as a winner after that. Khatron Ke Khiladi has done wonders for me.
How much improvisation do you do, while working on your role and dialogues?

What is your dream role?
I loved the role of Rani Mukherjee in Black and Julia Robert's role in Pretty Woman.
Which actors would you like to work with?
Who does not want to work with the Khan's (SRK, Salman, Amir, Saif) and ofcourse Mr. Bacchan?
Since in most of the movies that you have worked in has had other actresses as well, haven't you ever had a tiff with anyone? How has your experience been working with other actresses in a movie?
Well I have always had a very good experience working with other actresses. I am a very different kind of person. I have always made friends and I get along well with all my co-actors.I made many friends from Khatron Ke Khiladi as well.
In your career uptill now have you come across anything upsetting?
One thing I have learnt from my field is to accept rejection. It is a part and parcel of any industry and any field. Even a SRK or Salman Khan must have gone through rejection at some point in their lives. I have gone through rejection after giving screen tests and have accepted it in a right spirit as well. One needs to accept it and move on.
What are your future projects?
I am currently hosting Comedy Circus a comedy show and also working for two South Indian movies. I have many serial offers coming up, so I might take up some, in the next year.
