"It felt like I never left as nothing much has changed." - Gauri Pradhan Tejwani

 

"I play a very strong role of a woman who is practical in life. She marries a man who is 15 to 20 years elder to her. Prithiv Sankhal is going to play my husband on screen and Sarita Joshi will be playing my mother in law," says Gauri.

 

Further elaborating on the story line, she states, "In the show my mom-in-law doesn't like me. The reason behind this hatred is that her son has gone against her wishes and married me. So you'll see that nok-jhok. But my character is such that she doesn't take the nagging from her mom in law. Though she does respect her mom in law but at times my character is such that she won't take any nagging and you'll see how I smartly give it back Saritaji in the show."

 

Describing about her look in  the show, Gauri says that she will be seen in a modern look, "The look is definitely going to be a modern but you'll not see me in sleeveless blouses. As I'm married in a Gujju family, the avatar is designed accordingly but you'll see the richness in it. Basically I belong from a very rich family like the ones who lives in Walkeshwar."

 

"The shoot of the show has just started day before yesterday and I really felt good to be back on the sets. It felt like I never left as nothing much has changed. Though I'm enjoying this and also eagerly waiting for the serial to come on air. I think it should come by end of this month," concludes the actress.

 

It would be interesting to see whether Gauri in a mature avatar. Isn't it?
