Ishita Dutta reveals 'crying' upon learning that 'Thoda Sa Badal...' is going off-air

Short-lived shows have become an unfortunate reality for the longest time, especially post pandemic. Joining this bandwagon recently became the Colors show, Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani. The show that stars actor Ishita Dutta in the lead role as Kajol Mukherjee has become the latest entrant into the list to the list of shows going off-air way sooner than expected.

Needless to say, Dutta and everyone attached to the show have been disappointed about the show wrapping up so soon. Talking about it, Dutta said that it is indeed very disappointing. She mentioned when one starts a show, the entire casts becomes family and with the character also, one lives everyday. She then talked about how with movies, it is about a fixed schedule only dedicated a few months to it but with TV shows, it goes on and on. She lived Kajol every single day and hence when they got to know the news, they were indeed very sad.

She further talked about the instance when everybody got emotional and started crying which was the last day of shoot. They had known that the show is ending for a week now and everyone was emotional. Her on-screen father, Ravi, came to the sets at night where they were shooting around 12 am.

The scene was that they were looking at a picture of him, because he was no longer in the show. And they were all hugging each other and crying. Later, when they raised our eyes, they saw him standing for real. This led to them just not being able to control our emotions and they kept crying.

Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani premiered in August 2021 and is wrapped up on March 2022. Dutta will next be seen in Drishyam 2.
