Ishani Sharma chooses actor Archana T Sharma's series over a TV show..!

Ishani Sharma who has worked in shows like Humko Tumse ho Gaya Hai Pyar Kya Karen, Bepannah, Ishqbaaz, Sasural Simar Ka, Mai Bhi Ardhangini has been missing from the small screen for quite some time now. We got in touch with Ishani to know about her missing and if she has taken a break from TV. 

Ishani exclusively speaks and reveals, "TV is and always be important in my life as it's been the base of my acting career and the medium that made me a household name and gave due recognition to my talent. Well, it's not a deliberate decision to be away from TV or take a break from TV. I have been approached for few shows but things haven't materialized either because the character wasn't challenging or the budgets were poles apart. I am looking to do a substantial role or a lead character. In fact, there was a show that I had talks going on with to play a lead and things were almost to be finalized but before that I landed an interesting webseries alongside Gulshan Grover Sir, Aashiesh Sharrma and Boloram Das. My character is very, very different from what I have played until now and it's quite challenging."

She added, "Also, of course being directed by Jayant Gilatar Sir is like a dream come true and it's just amazing to work with talented actors like Gulshan Grover Sir and Aashiesh Sharrma. This is a perfect opportunity to enhance my acting skills and I will get to learn so much. Honestly, platform is not an issue for me as long as I am getting to play a good character or the character that really excites me. So for now I chose this show over the TV show but I will soon be back on TV once I get the perfect show."
