Is Katrina the reason behind BREAKING Ranbir's religious practice?

Ranbir Kapoor and Katirna Kaif are leaving no stone unturned to avoid crossing each other's paths. After putting down foot for not promoting their upcoming film 'Jagga Jasoos', they are now trying their best to refrain any sort of interaction on personal front as well.

Like every year, this year too Anurag Basu along music director Pritam Chakraborty had organized Saraswati Puja at his Malad residence. Ranbir has been a regular attendee at this religious occasion for many years now. But, this year he gave it a miss and the reason for his absence was speculated to be Katrina's presence at the same event.

A close source has revealed: "It's a grand affair with Anurag and Pritam preparing the bhog (feast) themselves. RK's been a regular for some years at this event while his ex Katrina Kaif has been attending it three years ago when the couple was dating. With her solo appearance at Anurag's puja this year, it sparked off speculations whether Ranbir of avoiding his ex." (sic)

There have been reports in the media that the couple has been avoiding each other at public events. But, a source close to Ranbir says: "However, the truth is, on this day, the actor was shooting for his Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani." (sic)
