Iqbal Khan says 'Bye-Bye' to Chhoona Hai Aasmaan...

Iqbal Khan who played the pivotal role of Abhimanyu Adhikari in Star One's Chhoona Hai Aasmaan has quit the show...

The heart-throb of millions, Iqbal Khan, who gained dizzying heights of success as rock star Angad of Kaisa Yeh Pyarr Hai was appreciated as the haughty yet very patriotic air force officer Abhimanyu Adhikari in Star One's popular soap, Choona Hai Aasmaan. But now the actor has decided to quit the show for unknown reasons.

When asked whether Iqbal Khan might get back later, Sandip Sikcand, the Creative Head of Miditech(Production House of Choona Hai…) says, “Iqbal Khan is out of Chhoona Hai.. now, and he is gone for good”. When asked about the reason for his exit, Sandip averred, “His contract with us ended and he did not want to renew it for some reason”.

Talking about the replacement for Iqbal, Sandip states, “It is very tough to look for a personality to replace Abhimanyu, the character that Iqbal was playing. As of now, we are considering few established actors as well as newcomers. The coming Thursday’s episode will see the last of Iqbal Khan in the serial. The story line which is now focused on Sameera’s kidnap will go on for few days. We also have a good bank of episodes in hand. We are hopeful of getting our replacement very soon and the actor’s entry might happen sometime in the last week of May. Let’s hope for the best”.

Well, as we bid Iqbal farewell, we hope that he will be back soon to entertain his fans in yet another avtar…
