New Delhi, Oct 12 (IANS) Popular TV actor Iqbal Khan is suffering from dengue and has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
The actor, who is currently playing male lead in Zee TV's 'Sangini', has been advised bed rest and as a result he is unable to devote any time to shoot for the show, said a source.
While the production unit is in a fix about managing the show without him, Iqbal is enjoying being pampered by his wife Sneha.
'God is kind! Perhaps, He felt that I deserved a break and some much-needed TLC (tender love and care) from my wife,' quipped Iqbal, who shot to fame with 'Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai'.
However, he plans to get back to work very soon.
'I'm going to take it easy for five days and try and get back to the sets as soon as possible,' he added.
Iqbal's co-stars are already missing him.
'Iqbal's quite the life on the sets. We're missing him and hope he has a speedy recovery,' said Binny Sharma who plays his best friend Gauri in the series.
And Aditi Gupta, his love interest Pihu in 'Sangini', said: 'Iqbal is a fighter. He'll be back on the sets in no time and will ensure that the producers have no worries at all!'
