Imagine's Sarvagun Sampann gets its male lead in Mujtaba Ali Khan

Balaji Telefilms' upcoming show on Imagine, Sarvagun Sampann has finally got its male lead. Though the female lead for the show was finalized many days back, the channel and production house were hunting for a fresh face to play the male lead.

It now looks as though their laborious hunt has yielded results. Mujtaba Ali Khan who was earlier seen in DD National's Stree Teri Kahani opposite Vani Sharma, has been finalized to play the lead of Sarvagun Sampann. The actor has also done a Telugu movie Aadab Hyderabad. He was also seen in DD's yet another show, Apne Paraye.

According to our source, "Many new and known faces were auditioned for the role, but it is Mujtaba Ali Khan who has bagged the role. He will play the eldest son of the politician Sadanand Raja Deshmukh, to be played by Prasad Pandit. His screen name is Aditya; he is like the right hand to his father in his political journey. Even though he is the eldest son in the family, he is not inclined to settling down in life. He still remains a bachelor while his two younger brothers, played by Anurag Nigam and Abhinav Kohli are married. So the entire family wants him to get his Ms. Right and settle in life at the earliest".

When contacted, Mujtaba Ali Khan confirmed that he is part of the show, but refused to talk more than this. 

The show is about the tale of a Lavni dancer Swara, played by Pooja Bose who has all the qualities of being a perfect wife.

Pramod Pawar, Sunita Rao, Nivedita Joshi Saraf, Tanvi Thakkar, Sunil Godse are also part of the show.

Sarvagun Sampann will launch on 10th May and will take the 7 PM slot on Imagine. This is the first time that Imagine has planned to have a fiction show at the early evening slot of 7 PM.
