I’m paired opposite Farhad as now Amruta is positive in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’: Priyanka Dhavale

The show is riding high on success and people are totally in the awe of Raghav and Pallavi’s love story. The duo has confessed feelings to each other. However, Mandar has made an entry in their lives and they’re in for a tough phase soon. 

Amidst Raghav and Pallavi’s love story, the makers also introduced an angle between Himanshu Bamzai aka Farhaad and Priyanka Dhavale aka Amruta. Initially, there were speculations that Farhaad and Keerti (Sayli Salunkhe) would have a love angle. However, the audience got surprised with the new pairing. 

India Forums got in touch with actress Priyanka Dhavale aka Amruta and asked about her take on the pairing. She said, “Amruta and Farhaad’s love angle came as an unexpected surprise to me as we didn’t even share screen-space until then. Initially my character was negative and there wasn’t a way for Amruta and Farhaad’s connection. But, now that my character has turned positive, the pairing has been introduced”.

Speaking about feedback from the viewers, Priyanka said, “I was overwhelmed with the response. The fans are showering a lot of love on this new couple. They are creating ship names like ‘AmHaad’ and ‘AmruHaad’. Post the first scene together, I got so many DMs, messages and mentions on social media that I was surprised and overwhelmed at the same time”.
