I'm disgusted. It's time for swift action: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is one of the actresses in Bollywood who has been bold enough to speak on issues surrounding women and children. The horrific incident after the Delhi Nirbhaya Gang Rape (2013), that has been haunting the entire nation is the 8-year-old kid called Afisa from Kashmir.

An 8-year-old was kidnapped, sedated, brutally raped for days and then finally murdered. The police have arrested eight persons in the case but the Bar Association has opposed the action alleging "targeting of minority Dogras".

Being angry about the incident on the poor child Priyanka took to Twitter, "How many more children like baby Asifa will be sacrificed at the intersect of religion & politics? How many will more children have to suffer unimaginable crimes before we wake up? I'm disgusted. It's time for swift action. We owe it to Asifa and to humanity." (Sic)
