You are an MBA and now perusing acting. How did this happen?

I always wanted to be a business woman. I had friends who were in modelling and I accompanied them to auditions. I bagged two ads. I enrolled myself for MBA through correspondence and also joined theater. I devoted two hours every day to theater. My mother was very supportive.Then auditions for Diya and Baati happened and I was called to Mumbai. Rest you guys know!

Do you relate to your character 'Sandhya'?

Absolutely!  I don't use glycerine and the emotions you see on the screen are real emotions. I learnt that audience will feel emotions only if they are genuine and if I feel them as well.

Who are your favourite co-stars on the sets?

Suraj ( Anas Rashid ) and Bhabho are my fave co stars.

What are you like in real life?

I'm an extrovert and full of life. I take life as it comes. Unlike Sandhya, I'm tom boyish.

Are you dating anyone?

No, I'm single. I have such a hectic schedule. Where is the time to date?

Describe your ideal man to us.

He should be co-operative , fun , intelligent and not too stuck up in life. If he is handsome then it is an added bonus. His family should be bindass as my family is super cool too!

What is your style quotient?

I wear what I'm comfortable in. I prefer loose clothing. I wear t-shirts , jeans. I don't wear short dresses as I'm tom boyish and I don't feel too comfortable.

If you were marooned on an island what would you take?

Clothes, food and would equip myself with necessary fighting equipments. It would be a good break!

Any dream role on TV you would want to do?

I don't think too much. I take life as it comes. What I'm doing currently is my dream role. I'm proud of my character.

Any television actor who would want to work with in future?

I would like to name here – Ram Kapoor and Barun Sobti. They are both fantastic actors!
