What's your take on India's Got Talent?
It is a show which is completely different from all others that I have done before. It's about all sorts of talent and doesn't narrow down to only singing and dancing. Everything and anything that is possible under the sun is there on the show. It is a lot of fun to watch such breathtaking talents on the show. The performances have their roots from all over the country, from small towns, and the remotest areas. I have done reality shows but I haven't done something which is connected to the common people. So, it's a new thing for me and I am really enjoying it.
You have also been a part of Jhalak previously. How was the experience?
I had a great time there. I miss Jhalak and the dance aspect of the show. Being a huge Madhuri fan, it was good fun to be a part of the show. Now, IGT has happened to me and it's a different space altogether. I have never done anything like this and I will take this as a challenge.
Apart from acting and dancing, which talent do you have?
I have been playing the flute since my school days and really enjoy doing so. In fact I was a part of my school band.It feels very relaxing and like spending some 'me time' when I pick up the flute. Apart from this I enjoy cooking as well as trying different adventure sports.
Any performance which you felt was a promising one?
There are a lot of such performances that are outstanding. One that strikes my mind is where two little kids gave a performance which touched my heart. There was a little boy who sang and the other one was a drummer. I really liked their performances very much. Along with this, I loved to see Amardeep's dance performance. We also witnessed some outstanding group dances and bands that looked very promising.
Any sweet moment that you would like to share?
Yes, there was a very little girl whose performance touched my heart and I immediately jumped out of my chair to hug her. Interestingly, she kept looking at my nail paint and she asked me to apply the same for her. I happily applied the nail paint for. That was a very sweet moment we had while shooting.
Any performance which scared you?
Oh Yes! There were some scary performances, dangerous acts and some fantastic stunts but each of them was really engaging. Some of them actually scared us as they were really very dangerous.
What's your fitness secret?
Being in shape is a requirement of the profession and I love keeping fit. I am very particular about my physical fitness and lifestyle. It is not something which is forced upon me. It's something which I enjoy.
