I would love to continue acting post marriage: Shireen Mirza

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Shireen Mirza will soon tie the knot with and Delhi-based IT professional, Hasan Sartaj.

The duo has been together for a while and got engaged only recently. Now they have confirmed their wedding day with a royal wedding card and it is going to be on the 23rd October 2021.

While the actress enjoy her mehndi ceremony today, India Forums had a brief chat with the actress and asked her about the moment that she decided that she was ready to take the plunge, she said, “Honestly, there wasn’t any particular moment when we decided to take the relationship to new level as we were always sure that this is meant to be. But, when Hasan went on his knees and proposed me on 14th February 2021, we were pretty sure that we’re made for each other”.

Talking about the preparation for the wedding, Shireen quipped, “Well, usually the wedding preps start a week before the D-day or apparently before ten days, but my wedding preparations begun literally a month before. There are guests everyday at my house for dance preparations. We’re a bunch of over enthusiastic people. Everybody is going crazy because the bride is having a lot of expectations from her own wedding (laughs)”.

Spilling beans on the long-distance relationship, Shireen said, “We do feel a little low as we couldn’t be a part of each other’s individual wedding preps personally, but we tend to make that up by always being virtually connected and in sink when it comes to finalizing various things. We discuss everything beforehand via video calls”.

We asked the gorgeous actress if she’ll shift the base to Delhi as Hasan and family stays there, she said, “We haven’t really given that a thought. For the initial phase, I will pretty much be there as his family will be there and his work needs him to be there. But for long run, we will surely discuss and come to a conclusion later”.

Shireen revealed that she’ll love to be a part of the industry post marriage, she said, “I will love to work and keep entertaining my audiences. I want to be an actress forever in my life, that’s something I really enjoy. I’m blessed to have in-laws and a partner who supports me and encourages me to do my best. He wants me to reach new heights and become a superstar. I’ll very much be a part of the entertainment industry post marriage”.
