I would like to play a role completely opposite to Gunjan: Farnaz Shetty

Pretty actress Farnaz Shetty, who was recently seen as Gunjan on Beyond Dreams' popular show Veera is now on a break from work and looking forward to make a comeback with some challenging character that will have some scope to perform.

In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Farnaz shares more about the sabbatical phase of her life and her plans to make a comeback to the small screen.

Farnaz says, "I have just attended a couple of meetings and now looking forwards to take up something which is completely opposite from Gunjan and should not reflect Gunjan at all. The role should be versatile and challenging enough to perform. I am selective about the role I would like to play in future. I have patience and whatever will be better, it should be according to my choice. The role should be good enough to put a good impact."

When we asked Gunjan about her journey with Veera, she said, "It's been a wonderful journey with the team and all my co-actors, producers and everyone in the team were so good to work with. It's been a beautiful journey with all of them. I am really happy and I think that I have justified my role. The show has given me fame and limelight. I would say that it's been a respectful journey. It's an honor for my parents to see me on television and the kind of appreciation they get for me from everyone. It feels so good when you work and get recognition for it. Television has a very short life in terms of face value and work but this show has given me a lot in these years. I am really thankful to my production house Beyond Dreams for believing in me and Star for giving me such a wonderful character to portray."  

"I have recently visited to some holy places during my free time and meeting all my friends whom I have never met for long. I am not rushing towards work right now. Along with that, I am giving sometime to my hobby - Painting. I am making a portrait of a Pug. It's really difficult to make one but just making one. I would like to thank all my fans for the love and support they have showered upon me," signs off Farnaz.
