I will not take up negative roles : Adti Sajwan

Aditi Sajwan, the hot and stunning actress who was seen in Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage on Sahara One as Roop has quit the show. She is now seen as Natkhat Pari in SAB Tv's Baal Veer.

TellyBuzz decided to speak to her about the reasons that lead to make exit from the show.

What made you quit Piya Ka Ghar?

There were few reasons why I decided to quit the show. Things were quite different from what I was told. It was told to me that I will be marrying the lead while such thing never happened. Later the character of Piya (Leena Jumani) was introduced and the track changed! While I was told that my character will have love and feelings for Bitto (Giriraj Kabra). As Piya (Leena Jumani) was the culprit as she had killed Sejal (Sanjeeda Sheik). It was more of positive and good track that I had to be part of but things turned out to be quite negative as eventually I was told I will become negative. This certainly didn't go well with me at all and I decided to quit.

Why have you chosen not to portray negative roles?

I somehow don't like negative at all! I feel its very harsh and doesn't go with my face and my personality. Somehow I feel quite awkward playing negative. I love and respect actors donning negative characters for years but somehow its not my cup of tea. As of now, I just want to take up positive roles which are light-hearted and romantic. However, I am not sure about the future, I might just take up negative roles too.

How has your journey been with Piya Ka Ghar till date?

I would say, it has been fabulous. I have learnt a lot, the co-actors are full of life and every day with them has been quite memorable.

Brief us about your future projects?

As of now, I am happy with Baal Veer on SAB TV. I am looking out for roles which are substantial as well as is of a protagonist. A romantic love story is what I am waiting for now.
