I was really touched to meet the entire cast and director of Balika Vadhu - Veebha Anand

Veebha Anand got popularity through her role of Sugana in Balika Vadhu on Colors. After getting recognition this beautiful looking actress showcased her acting skills in shows like Mahabharat, Sanskaar Laxmi and more. Having given a power packed performance in daily soaps, Veebha is gaining popularity for her desi role in MTV India's youth oriented show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.

In conversation with us Veebha talks about taking up Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, her journey and more...

Talking about the much loved show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Veebha says, "I am enjoying doing Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. We have been getting good reviews but some times we also are criticized by the viewers. As actors we do what we do what we are told do so and one cannot expect much from us as we try our best to live up to to their expectations to the fullest."

What was the reason behind taking up this project? She answers, "I was thinking to do a youth based show since a very long time and when I was offered this I couldn't say No. For the first time I am playing the role of my age which is something I always wanted to do. I love playing Navya's character and any girl can easily relate to her."

Does Veebha relate to Navya's character? "Somewhere I relate to my character because even I am passionate about fulfilling my dreams and Navya is also a girl who comes from a small town and believes in her dreams." 

Coming to the cult show Balika Vadhu which gave Veebha fame and recognition for portraying the character of Sugna, when asked her about the show she says, "I can never forget those days of Balika Vadhu. Whenever  I watch the show I can feel  my affection towards the show. I still remember my dialogues of the show as the set was like an institute for me from where I have grown. I think you need guts to make a show like Balika Vadhu and that's the reason it is still popular. Recently I had been to Naigaon to shoot an episode of Akbar Birbal and that time I visited the sets to cherish my old moments. I was really touched to meet the cast and director of Balika Vadhu."
