I want to play Sarojini very convincingly: Shiny Doshi

Pretty and talented actress Shiny Doshi, who is currently seen on Rashmi Sharma's upcoming show Sarojini is enjoying essaying the character of a strong girl. Shiny was earlier seen on Saraswatichandra where she was seen in a different character than this.

TellyBuzz tried to the dig deep into the character of Shiny on this show, her experience so far and much more about the show.

I want to play this character very convincingly - "It's been a great experience so far and I am really enjoying playing the role. Sarojini is a very challenging character to play. I couldn't say a No' when I narrated this character. I have been working really hard for the show and playing Sarojini is not so easy for me. She is a very strong woman; I am a strong woman too in my real life but portraying such a character on-screen is bit difficult because I have to make sure that I have to look strong on the show in this character. I want to play this character very convincingly."

I am like Kusum as well as Sarojini - "Kusum was bit emotional and more attached towards her family. Sarojini is a strong and practical woman and she believes in education. She aspires to become a teacher to bring some change in the society. I am emotional as well as strong too so I can say that I am half Kusum and half Sarojini."  

I love my costumes - "I have been given a very simple look on the show with simple and comfortable costumes. My costumes were so different on Saraswatichandra. I love my costumes on this show as well as on Saraswatichandra but I been fallen many a times in Ghaghra during Saraswatichandra (laughs). It becomes little easy for me to shoot in these kinds of costumes."

My co-stars are co-operative - "All my co-stars are very nice to work with. We help each other with our scenes and everybody is co-operative. My scenes with Mohit (Mohit Sehgal) and Pankaj ji (Pankaj Tripathi) are coming out really good. It feels like we do not need to put any extra effort while doing our scenes; everything comes out very naturally and well. The casting is really good."

We had good fun watching the first episode on our set - "We were thinking that how we will watch the first episode of our show as we all were shooting but then our producer Rashmi mam arranged for a screen on our sets and we got an early pack up that day. We all watched the episode together and celebrated. It was good fun."

Fans are enjoying my scenes with Mohit - "Everyone is loving the show. I have got comments from the audience that the show is very colorful and it has a good bunch of actors. Fans are enjoying my scenes with Mohit. So far the reviews are good."
