"I used to give auditions starving, without lunch and dinner." - Sanchit Sharma

It is very rare to see an actor without an industry background getting a break in a big banner show. 

One of the few lucky guys in the industry is Sanchit Sharma who essays the role of Yash in Star Plus' mega drama show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. 

Let's talk to him about his excitement being a part of the show...

Sanchit said, "Yeh Rishta...is a big show and working with Star Plus is every actor's dream. I am content with my character and I should be given the fact that not many people are lucky to get such kind of a break in this industry. There was a time when i used to give six to seven auditions in a day starving, without lunch and dinner. I have come up the hard way and I think all my patience has finally paid off."

Speaking about his character, Sanchit plays a lad who is romantic in nature. But, what about off-screen?

The fine-looking actor said, "Genuinely speaking, the person viewers are watching on-screen is exactly the person I am off screen. The way Yash respects elders; understands responsibilities towards his family and knows what is right and wrong for him."
