World Environment Day is a global event that commemorates every year on June 5th to promote awareness about environmental protection. The idea of celebrating World Environment Day is to spread the word about how there is socio-environmental conflict such as global warming, marine life, and sustainable consumption of resources, which needs to be addressed and acknowledged.
On this World Environment Day, Zee TV actor Aishwarya Khare a.k.a. Lakshmi from Zee TV's Bhagya Lakshmi shared her views on protecting the environment, as well as the importance of the same.
Aishwarya Khare, who essays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi, mentioned, “As an actor, I am privileged to have a platform that allows me to raise awareness and inspire change in everyone’s life. I try to reduce plastic use and have substituted it for safer and environment-friendly materials that do not harm nature. If every individual takes even small steps to do their bit, we can go a long way in protecting nature and all living beings who reside alongside us on this planet. Despite all the efforts, I feel there is also a lack of awareness towards recycling and switching to more sustainable items regularly. Let us use this day as a reminder to take action, to reduce our carbon footprint, and to embrace sustainable practices to protect our nature.”
Well, the current track of ‘Bhagya Lakshmi’ has kept the fans glued to the TV screens. The show features actors like Aishwarya Khare, Rohit Suchanti, Smita Bansal, Maera Mishra, Aman Gandhi, Munira Kudrati among others.
