I thought Ankit & Priyanka aka Fateh & Tejo would have attitude issues: Chetna Singh aka Simran of Udaariyaan

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Jasmine and Fateh’s affair coming out in open. Fateh requested Gurpreet to ask Tejo to leave the house. She did the same, but Khushbir stopped Tejo from leaving the virk house. This irked Fateh and he decided to leave the house along with Jasmine.

With Simran’s entry in the lives of the Virks, the show has become quite intriguing. We got in touch with actress Chetna Singh who plays the role of Simran in the show and asked the actress about her first impressions and bonds with actors Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chaudhary aka Fateh and Tejo.

Chetna quipped, “Well, I remember my first encounter with Priyanka very clearly. I felt that she might have starry attitude or she might be reserved but to my pleasant surprise. That wasn’t the case at all. Priyanka was quite comforting and helpful. I was a little nervous for our first scene together as it was a long emotional and major revelation scene wherein Tejo learns about Simran being in India for past three years. Priyanka comforted me and also did rehearsals multiple times, just to make me feel as ease. She is a great human being who’s full of life”.

Talking about Ankit, Chetna said, “As far as Ankit is concerned, I felt he might be the angry young man sorts. He looks quite serious but is definitely not. Two minutes of my time on the sets and I realized that he is an extremely funny and jovial individual. He can crack jokes or make others laugh in the most serious situations. He has no fuss about anything and is a happy soul. I’m blessed to work with such phenomenal actors who’re also nice and positive human beings”.
