I loved the cast of BFF : Shritama Mukherjee

The show ended abruptly but Shritama is happy her postive side was shown in BFF after lots of negative traits in Dekha Ek Khwaab...

Shritama Mukherjee was seen as princess Jayanandani in Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony TV and later in V Best Friends Forever? on Channel V as one of the friend Vienne. BFF ended in just six months and although it was a youth based show it still didn't go well with the youth.

We asked Shritama about the abrupt and sudden ending of the show and this is what she had to say, "Its sad that the show ended so soon. But I don't regret the ending as we all know whatever starts has to end and moreover I took up this show and the character because in Dekha... I was negative and the roles offered to me later were negative too so I wanted to shed my negative image and show that I can even do positive roles."

"I would simply like to thank my fans that although I was playing a very positive character in Best Friends Forever they would love and recognize me as Jayanandani from Dekha Ek Khwaab. I am thankful to Sony TV and the show that the impact of Jayanandani is such that I am still recognized and remembered by this character" she continued.

When quizzed about what went wrong with BFF she said, "We had lots of changes in the script as well as story line, and somehow the story went haywire with lots of issues in it which the audience may not have understood or could gel with. I also believe that the youth audience needed love and romance in the shows and if our show had few angles of this shown beautifully we would have grabbed the eyeballs."

She further went on to say, "I loved the cast of BFF as I made so many friends and we had a gala time shooting. As the show has now ended I will take rest and will look out for some positive roles. I don't wish to do negative roles as of now but still I don't know what the future holds for me".
