I literally hit myself for the post revelation sequence: Abhishek Verma of Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha

Star Plus’ Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha is currently high on drama. Darsh and Nandani’s lives have taken 360 degree turn. Shobhit has been successful in creating a major rift between the duo. Shobhit who feels his love Charmi has died because of the Rawals decided to ruin Darsh and Nandani’s life. However, it is only recently that he learned the truth about Charmi being alive. Charmi confront Shobhit and tells him that whatever he did to Darsh and Nandani was monstrous.

Filled with guilt and pain, Shobhit exposes himself in front of the family and hits himself in frustration. India Forums got in touch with Abhishek Verma and asked him about the extremely intense scene. Abhishek said,  “It was a major revelation for Shobhit wherein he came to know that he went wrong all the while and separated two love birds. He was highly guilt-stricken but he gathered himself and tried to put things straight. He hit himself in frustration. The current track is super exciting. Not just in writing even while performing it was very intense and intriguing. I got so involved in the scene and character that if you see my arm right now it’s all red and blue. I actually hit myself real hard and realized it only later when the Director ordered a cut (laughs)”.

Abhishek further added, “It was an extremely emotional scene for Shobhit, it was a lengthy scene, full of drama and very draining. We shot that one scene the entire day. That’s the kind of treatment it needed”.

Well, the current track of the show revolves around Darsh’s surgery while Nandani meets Dhvani, Mr. Jhunjhunwala’s grand-daughter, who thinks that Nandani is her mother.
