I have never romanced anyone on any of my shows: Adaa Khan

She is tickling your funny bones with her wit and humor on 'Comedy Nights Bachao' and now she will be showing Shesha's evil side on Colors' upcoming show 'Naagin'.

Its Adaa's first show with Balaji Telefilms' and she owes this one to her Mom's blessings. Shesha is going to be a different character for Adaa to play as compared to the roles that she has previously played. In a conversation with us, she shares more about her character, her preparation for playing the role and much more.

Talking about her character and the show, Adaa shares, "Shesha is an Ichchadhari Naagin, who has come to take revenge from the family after a long gap of 20 years. I always try taking up different roles that I haven't played before and something which is challenging for me to play. I consider all my previous roles that I have played before as the best ones of my career and have given my best to them. I haven't played a character like this before and I will give my best to it and make it the best one too. In India, we all do have beliefs in something that we haven't seen in reality and people enjoy watching such things through film and TV. Ekta Mam presents such things in a very nice way, so I am sure that people will enjoy watching it."

We wonder what are the difficulties that Adaa might be coming across while essaying the role and how has she prepared herself for the role. When we asked her about it, she answered, "We mostly have night shoots because of the format of the show. The costumes are also not like normal daily soaps. They are like Mythological shows' costumes that are really heavy. I have to wear a lens to make the eyes look attractive because in the films, the eyes of Naagin have been made very attractive and the same has been done here too. There are some dance sequences that are tough for me because I am not at all a trained dancer."

"Ekta (Ekta Kapoor) Mam told me that, 'You should have the style of Sridevi which she had in the movie 'Naagin'. Even if you are doing bad things, you should look good.' So I saw the movie 'Naagin' and I really like Sridevi."  

When asked about whether she will be seen romancing on-screen on this show, she quipped, "It's between Mouni (Mouni Roy) and Arjun (Arjun Bijlani). I have never romanced with anyone in any my shows. My husbands end up liking someone else in all my shows (chuckles)."
