Mithya on Zee5 stars Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani in lead roles, Mithya is a 6-part ZEE5 Original series, directed by Rohan Sippy and Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Rose Audio Visual Production.

The series marks Avantika Dassani’s debut and also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajit Kapur and Samir Soni in pivotal roles.

While talking to India Forums about the show, his character, and some more, Parambrata tells us,

What attracted me to the project primarily is the fact that so far, especially in the Hindi space, whatever I have been doing, has been in a very good guy space. Be it Kahaani or Pari, the characters that I have played so far are essentially nice people. However, in Mithya, I get to play a very grey character. He is very badly and tragically caught between good and bad but that’s how human beings are, right?

He added,

In most cases we are often caught between the sense of good and sense of bad and this man, Neil Adhikari is otherwise a regular guy who suffers from all possible prejudices when it comes to his relationship with his wife. He is a person who is frail from within, who is susceptible to falling prey to temptations. So, this strike of the character caught my attention the most as, as I said earlier, all my previous characters were all good guys even though they were shaded. However, in Mithya, Neil is tilted more towards the greyer side and I think that is what excited me the most.

Mithya is all set to premiere on 18th February.
