I feel it is always a challenge to join a show halfway: Baseer Ali on 'Kundali Bhagya'

One of Zee TV’s most popular shows, Kundali Bhagya, has always kept the audience on the edge of their seats with its intriguing storyline over the course of its glorious 5-year run. Viewers have seen how Shakti Arora, who plays the role of Arjun Suryavanshi turns out to be none other than Karan Luthra. He has been the reason behind several ups and downs in Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and the Luthra family’s life in recent times. Nevertheless, after a lot of twists and turns, #Preeran fans are ecstatic to witness that their favourite jodi has finally reunited and tied the knot. But turning the tale on its head, the show will soon witness a twenty-year leap!

In the last couple of weeks, viewers saw that Karan and Preeta have been blessed with twin boys but meet with an accident while on their way to a vaccination camp. With Karan slipping into coma, Preeta wakes up only to find out that one of her children is missing and has been kidnapped by Anjali to take revenge. Preeta finds Anjali at a cliff with her child and as she begs Anjali to return her child safely, they get into a heated argument. What will happen next? Will Preeta be able to save herself and her child?

Amidst all the high-octane drama, the show will take a 20-year leap, where the viewers will get to see the entry of actor Baseer Ali who will be seen essaying the role of Shaurya Luthra. He is a rebellious child who has his own ideologies towards life. He does not listen to anyone but his mother. Talking about his experience of shooting, Baseer revealed how he is having fun, and is thrilled to join the show. In fact, not many are aware that this is the first time Baseer will be seen in a daily soap.

Talking about his entry, Baseer Ali mentioned, “Kundali Bhagya is my first daily soap and I feel blessed to have been given this opportunity. I believe in not limiting myself to one genre, hence after being part of a couple of reality shows, I decided to take up this challenging role. I have known Kundali Bhagya for years, and now being a part of it gives me great happiness. My character, Shaurya, is born with a silver spoon, doesn’t care about working, and lives his life on his own terms. I feel it is always a challenge to join a show halfway because the viewers are already accustomed to all the characters and actors. However, the twenty-year leap is filled with loads of drama and entertainment for its viewers and  I am sure the fans will continue to shower their love on the show.”

Well, we all are very excited to watch Kundali Bhagya with the new storyline that will bring exciting developments in the show after the twenty-year leap. While there’s a lot of drama that is yet to unfold, will Preeta and Arjun ever be able to reunite and save their child from Anjali? Only time will reveal.
