'I don't miss him,' says Shilpa Shirodkar on being asked about her bond with BB 18 co contestant Vivian Dsena

The recently concluded season of Bigg Boss 18 delivered its fair share of drama, emotional highs, and unexpected friendships. Among the most notable bonds formed inside the house was that of veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar with fellow contestants Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena. While her camaraderie with Karan Veer seems to have stood the test of time, her connection with Vivian has noticeably faded.

In a candid interview with Zoom, Shilpa reflected on her changing dynamics with her former co-contestants. When asked whether she misses Vivian or their time spent together in the house, the Hum actress responded with clarity and honesty: "I don’t miss him. I have never felt any regret or embarrassment about my friendship with Vivian. In fact, he was the first genuine bond I formed in that house."

Recalling their time on the show, Shilpa acknowledged that Vivian had a difficult start in the Bigg Boss house, mainly because he didn’t try to conform to the house dynamics and chose instead to be his authentic self. “People didn’t always understand his tone or expressions, but I saw a softer, more grounded side to him,” she shared.

Despite that early friendship, the two have since drifted apart. Shilpa confirmed that she and Vivian are no longer in contact. Their last meeting, she recalled, was on the set of Laughter Chefs Season 2, a cooking-based celebrity reality show that features several popular faces from the entertainment industry.

She expressed no ill will, though, and described their fallout as a natural progression of life. “He said what he felt, I was being myself too. Sometimes, relationships evolve, and sometimes they don’t—and that’s okay,” she said.

Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her work in 90s Bollywood and her more recent appearances on television, was appreciated for her grounded nature and maturity throughout her stint in Bigg Boss 18. Her friendship with Karan Veer Mehra, who is known for shows like Ziddi Dil Maane Na and Pavitra Rishta 2.0, continues beyond the reality show, and the two have often been seen interacting off-camera as well.

On the other hand, Vivian Dsena, a popular television actor best known for his roles in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, has largely stayed away from controversies post-show and continues to focus on his professional commitments.

As Bigg Boss 18 fans continue to reflect on the shifting bonds and emotional journeys within the house, Shilpa's reflections serve as a reminder that not all relationships are meant to last—and that letting go with grace is also a form of strength.
