'I don't like what is on television these days' - Mona Singh.
Her absence from mainstream television serials has left many wondering what has she been doing post JJKN and JDJ.Let's now hear from the star about her future projects!!
Following her sensational performance and undying public support, which won her the trophy and an impressive prize money in Sony's dance show 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja', many have been wondering why there has been so little 'jhalak' of Mona Singh on small screen lately.
However Mona does not aver to this. “ I am not out of news. I just don't like what's on television in the name of serials these days. So I am deliberately keeping myself away from these kind of dramas. But I am very much in news as my stint in the Nicktoon's popular cartoon show Spongebobsquarepants has been getting a lot of attention', states Mona in her customary veracious manner.
' Besides this, I have also done a Music Video for Lata Mangeshkar ji', she informs blithely. The video is all ready to be released in June. This will be Lata ji’s first album release in 17 years.
We
too would be eagerly waiting for the music video as it would not only
be a joy for all the Lata fans to hear the nightingale once more, but
also for the millions of Mona fans,who still miss her endearing act as
'Jassi' in the Sony's one of the most famous shows ever - Jassi Jaisi
Koi Nahi.
But there is some good news for all her admirers. Come July, she will be back gracing the small screen once more, this time in a new avatar - as an anchor. She is going to host 'Extreme Makeover' to be launched by Sony that month. "We have already started shooting for it. It's a project I am very upbeat about.", saya a jubilant Mona.
Thus Mona sure is going to be back with another makeover session after her now famous Jassi transformation. Whether this program manages to transform the taste of the average Television viewer is still to be seen.
We wish this lissome actress the very best for all her endeavours.
