'I don't believe in the word Impossible like Rubi' - Swasti Sinha

Swasti Sinha, the fresh face in BAG Films' new serial Rubi on 9X talks about her role and much more..

Swasti Sinha, the lead actress Rubi makes her debut as lead character in BAG Films’ Rubi on 9X. But the girl is not totally new to television. “I have done many commercial art projects and was doing a character role in Star One’s Pari Hoon Main. I am delighted to have got a big break with BAG Films”, quips Swasti.

Duniya ke Har Lambe raaste ka ‘Shortcut’ jaanti hai Rubi…,  Rubi is the story of a free-spirited, headstrong yet naïve girl who tries hard to win in life. Explaining her character, the newcomer says, “This girl is very bubbly, optimistic and very sweet. She is a family-oriented person with lots of ambitions in life”. Though the girl opts for ‘Shortcuts’ in life, Swasthi finds a striking similarity in both her reel and real life. “I don’t believe in the word ‘Impossible’ in life and don’t accept failure easily. Like Rubi, I am also very ambitious and hard working. Yes, I too take shortcuts in life but it a positive way”, quips the fresh face.

The role is a very challenging one for Swasti. The character will be shown going through an inner struggle within herself and her family values. Swasti in turn is happy working with this production house. “It’s very nice working with them. The name itself is very huge. From my personal experience, I can say they really care for their artists. All here are like a family and I think for a fresher this is the best start,” says the actress.
