Star Plus' Jhanak has made headlines as the makers officially confirm a major 20-year leap. India Forums exclusively reported the development after declining TRPs and criticism of the show's regressive storyline. The leap aims to bring fresh twists and renewed audience interest.

Actor Krushal Ahuja, who plays a pivotal role, confirmed his exit. He said to India Forums, "Yes, the show is taking a leap, and I will be exiting. It's a mutual decision between the production house and me. I consider this a new beginning—something must end for a fresh start. I have given my 100 percent to the character, and thanks to my fans for loving me."

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Shoaib Ibrahim has been approached to lead the post-leap storyline. A source revealed, "Shoaib has been considered for the role and has done a look test. If everything aligns, he will be finalized soon."

The show stars Hiba Nawab as Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Aniruddha, and Chandni Sharma as Arshi. With Kunal Verma's recent entry as Vihaan, new conflicts and twists have kept fans hooked. Jhanak is set for an exciting new chapter with fresh characters and evolving storylines.
