I believed Aditya-Imlie are irreplaceable but Aryan-Imlie’s magic stole the show: Preet Kaur Nayak of ‘Imlie’

Star Plus show 'Imlie' witnessed a major twist with actor Fahmaan Khan entering the show as Aryan Singh Rathore. Within a span of few weeks, it was established that Aryan will be the new hero opposite Imlie in the show.

It was certainly a calculated risk which would’ve fallen flat, but Aryan and Imlie’s has been highly appreciated by the viewers and now they’ve become a rage. India Forums got in touch with actress Preet Kaur Nayak and asked her about her thoughts on the decision of the makers to form Aryan and Imlie as a couple despite of Aditya-Imlie having a massive fan-following. 

Aryan and Imlie added a new flavor in the show. While Aditya and Imlie were a mature couple, things between Aryan and Imlie were totally different.

Talking about the same, Preet said, “For me, Aditya and Imlie were irreplaceable. They used to set the screen on fire and fans were crazy about them and I also used to adore them as an on-screen couple. But when Aryan came into the picture, I don’t know what happened but certainly a magic was created. May be it was Fahmaan’s performance or the writer’s way of writing the character; Aryan and Imlie immediately clicked with the viewers”.

She added, “Aryan and Imlie added a new flavor in the show. While Aditya and Imlie were a mature couple, things between Aryan and Imlie were totally different. AryLie were like Tom and Jerry and people loved to see them as well. Me being Aditya’s sister, loved to see Aryan and Imlie on-screen and otherwise. So yes, AryLie are successful and how!”
