I believe Virat Kohli should Divorce Anushka Sharma: BJP MLA after accusing Anushka of sedition

Amazon Prime’s latest released series Paatal Lok produced by Anushka Sharma is a hit amongst the audience and it has received a massive fan following in just a few days. However, the series instantly landed in trouble after BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar filed a complaint against ‘Paatal Lok’ producer Anushka Sharma for using his picture without his permission in the show.

In the show, a real picture was morphed to feature ‘Paatal Lok’s fictional characters, however, it also shows Nandkishore in it.

The MLA has also written a letter to Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar to ban the streaming of Paatal Lok. He has also filed a complaint against the producer under the National Security Act for allegedly causing a communal stir.

Gurjar has accused Anushka of sedition. 

However, the controversy did not end there as the MLA suggested Indian skipper Virat Kohli to divorce his wife Anushka Sharma in a conversation with Newsroom Post.

Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh k liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye.

Earlier, Paatal Lok producer Anushka Sharma made it to the headlines after Gurjar filed a complaint against her for using his picture without his permission in the show. In the show, a real picture was morphed to show ‘Paatal Lok’s fictional characters, however, it also shows Nandkishore in it.

An India Today report suggested that in addition to his picture, Gurjar also has an issue with the show’s content. He has called it ‘anti-national’.

In his complaint, the MLA from Uttar Pradesh’s Loni has said that Anushka’s show portrays castes in Sanatan Dharma in a negative light.

However, Anushka Sharma is yet to react to these accusations.
