I believe the scripwriters - Gurdeep Kohli on playing Jodha in 'Dastaan-E-Mohabbat'

The Shaheer Sheikh - Sonarika Bhadoria starrer Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali went on air just yesterday, and the reviews have so far been overwhelming.

Playing a historic character requires a lot of in depth knowledge of their background, the entire story and of course, their ideology in general. Hence, a lot of research goes into it.

However, looks like Gurdeep Kohli had first hand help in the form of her team.

When questioned about the kind of research that went into the character, she said, "I've seen plays, classic films and the only research I've done is put my hands in makers' hands. I am just following the script as it has been written beautifully and I am trying to get the nuances that I've seen Jodha have."

Well, she was definitely loved in the first episode that aired yesterday! What do you think?
