The actress, who plays Barun's onscreen sister in 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' reacts on being compared to Daljiet Kaur.

Actress Daljiet Kaur played Barun's onscreen sister, Anjali in the first installment of "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" and was immensely loved by the audience. The chemistry between Dalljiet and Barun is still remembered and fans have started comparing Rishika with Daljiet.When Rishika was asked about the comparison between her and Daljiet, she stated, "Well I have recently started shooting and I am doing my best. I have not watched the earlier seasons of the show, so I can't say much about how Daljiet portrayed the role. As far as the comparison goes, it doesn't really affect me and I don't take it seriously. As it will not change who I am and I will keep doing my job and give my best with the story I get."

"As an actor, every person is different and every person portrays the character differently. I am sure in the previous season Daljiet's bonding with Barun was different from my bonding with Barun as she was playing the real sister and I am the cousin sister. I am sure as the show moves on people will like the bonding between Advay and Pooja. As every character needs time and the developers are working on my track. I really hope I get a good script and can portray it well," she added.

When Rishika was asked how it feels playing a mother to a five year old boy, she continued," This character is coming to me very naturally, because it is of a single, strong and independent mother, who is raising her child herself with help from few family members. The way I am saying my dialogues and portraying the role is very lighthearted as that's how we girls are these days. I don't have to fake anything".
