I am star struck with sport stars: Taapsee Pannu talks about her love for sports

The trailer for Taapsee Pannu's eagerly anticipated movie Shabaash Mithu is getting a lot of love and praise from all sides. With her intense performances, this PAN India star has consistently demonstrated her talent as an actor. With Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee raises the bar once more by convincingly portraying the renowned cricketer Mithali Raj, who just announced her retirement.

The Pink actress frequently expressed her utter appreciation for sports as well as her amazement and respect for all athletes.

She has an unsaid passion for sports and prefers to spend her free time participating in outside activities than relaxing indoors.

Expressing about her love for sports Taapsee said, 

“I am star struck with sport stars. I haven’t seen many movies while growing up until college but I followed sports since my childhood. So, whenever I see a sports star, I am always star struck which comes with huge amount of respect that I have for each one of them. I always ensure that I don't trespass a line when I have a sports star around me and avoid being my usual chirpy self."

Shabaash Mithu, is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios hits theatres on 15th July.
